Our Special Projects Division has started on site at Fareham Academy in Hampshire, appointed as Principle contractor to provide a turn-key service for the full facade replacement.
NACWL created a secure enclave within the school boundary to maintain separation between contractors and the school personnel at all times. Once site set-up was complete we commenced removal of the existing 1970’s facade and installation of the new curtain walling system. The new facade will not only improve the aesthetics but also the acoustic, thermal and fire performance of the classroom block. NACWL are managing several trades including electricians, plumbers, security and asbestos removal specialists. Weekly safety inspection reports are carried out by our in-house H&S manager. Works commenced during the Easter half term and will continue into the summer holidays.
The project has is being administered by Synergy LLP of Guildford, following the successful application for CIF bid funding.
