Opportunity:
Located between the Bank of England and St Paul’s Cathedral, clad in traditional stone and bronze, the Bloomberg HQ, in London, provides approx. 1.1 million square feet of office space. It is the largest stone building project in the City of London since St Pauls Cathedral, and has been credited as the world’s most sustainable office, winning the RIBA Stirling Prize for Architecture.
Proposal:
NACWL was contracted by Joseph Gartner and Sir Robert McAlpine to provide the management and the installation of the unitised curtain walling system, including bespoke bronze fins and associated pressed metalwork. Plus, the design, supply, and installation of the bespoke gantry system and specialist lifting equipment.
