After an intrusive survey and prototype bay study NACWL established a scope to refurbish the facade within our clients budget and required program dates, installing 5,500 linear metres of Schueco FW60 curtain wall system to 9 floors, improving the aesthetics of the building and the weather integrity of the facade.
We managed all the trades while working closely with the client to successfully deliver the works in a live office environment. Due to the proximity to live rail we coordinated with Network Rail, gaining the required engineering checks, approvals and paperwork to enable works to progress. We undertook surveys, concrete core samples and laboratory testing to prove suitability of the existing structure for our access equipment. Delivering fortnightly safety inspection reports carried out by our in-house H&S manager.
