Opportunity:
Eagle House is an Art Deco-inspired building, designed by Terry Farrell Architects. It is a 26 storey, mixed-use development, offering private apartments, offices, and retail units. NACWL were appointed to design, supply and install the facade solutions.
Proposal:
NACWL developed the design to supply Hueck curtain walling, windows & doors, structural framing system, cladding, louvre plant rooms & brise -soleil. Working from a combination of cradles, fixed scaffold and rope access techniques, the job was successfully completed on time, and within budget.
This was a challenging but rewarding project for NACWL as it demanded significant attention to detail and thorough planning. It also represented a ‘step-up’ in terms of contract size and facade complexity, which served to increase NACWL’s knowledge and capability in many areas of project delivery.
