Chilcomb Business Centre in Winchester is an innovative and new commercial development and once completed will comprise of six individual three-storey units, and will be able to accommodate up to 89,000 sq. ft. of new business space.
NACWL were engaged by BMP Construction to design, supply and install a full building envelope solution to phase 1, which also includes our first ever green roof.
Due to its location within the Hampshire Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, PWP architects wanted to install a sedum green roof on the top of the building. This provides a more aesthetically pleasing landscape, while encouraging a habitat for wildlife and can contribute positively to the environment.
We installed the roof with the support from Sky Gardens Green Solutions who ensured our first ever green roof had the BREEAM standard of excellence.
